On November 29, 2012, the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) awarded a multi-year contract (613Z0179001) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. to provide 13 IT consultants to assist with the business and technical elements for the implementation of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) and the Health Plan Identifier (HPID) federally-mandated initiatives. The award amount of this multi-year contract was $5,865,000. Alert IT’s Project Manager, Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, and Medical Coding Experts, by collaborating with the HFS Project Manager, successfully implemented one of the most complex federally-mandated solutions for the Illinois State Medicaid Agency. Alert IT’s experts worked with the state team and successfully completed ICD-10 implementation ahead of schedule and within budget. This was a major achievement for our client, HFS, and for Alert IT Solutions, which had an impact on the entire healthcare system in Illinois.
In the year 2012, the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) awarded a contract (60000013C39) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. to provide Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and QA Analysts for the IDES Benefit Information System (IBIS) and Illinois Job Link System (IJL) maintenance and support. Alert IT completed this multi-year, multimillion-dollar project successfully in 2015. Alert IT staff consistently exceeded client expectations to meet its ongoing business goals, including the timely delivery of benefits and job placements for Illinois citizens.
In 2015, the IDES awarded another multi-year contract (80000016C19) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. to provide 18 qualified Information Technology (IT) Specialists to complete and implement needed enhancements and upgrades to its Unemployment Insurance Benefit System [Illinois Benefit Information System (IBIS)]. IT Specialists included 4 IT Business Analysts, 4 User Acceptance Testers, 2 Legacy System Developers, 7 Senior Java Developers, and 1 DB2/WebSphere Database Administrator. Alert IT Solutions, Inc. was the primary vendor and was awarded a contract up to $4,377,700 for a maximum of 57,000 consulting service hours. This project was successfully completed on time and within budget on September 7, 2018.
In 2012, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a multi-year contract (22024083) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. for supplying specialized temporary ESPX employees by service title for services not currently covered by the CMS master contract. The initial award was for $420,000. The amount was increased several times during the contract period when EPA needed services of more specialized employees. This contract was successfully completed on June 30, 2015.
On July 1, 2015, the EPA awarded a repeat multi-year contract (22036546) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. for supplying specialized temporary employees by service title for services not covered by the CMS master contract. The initial award was for $1.2 million. Later the amount was increased to $2 million. This contract was completed on December 31, 2019. This client, like others, has expressed extreme satisfaction with our performance on this contract.
On October 26, 2018, the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DOIT) awarded a multi-year contract (CIT9472220) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. to provide two Project Managers to manage IT-Transformation activities for the state. The resources we provided were responsible for managing short-term enhancements of the State’s IT-Transformation activities, with an emphasis on project management. The project managers we provided were PMP-certified and possessed excellent communication and project management skills. This contract was successfully completed on June 30, 2020.
On September 20, 2018, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) awarded a multi-year contract (IPB#22041957) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. to provide two Senior .Net and SharePoint developers to provide specialized software development services for IDOT’s SharePoint and Intranet platforms. The resources have been responsible for performing maintenance, development, and project tasks as well as mentoring Department Staff when needed. This is an ongoing project and client managers are extremely satisfied with the performance of our .NET/SharePoint developers.
On October 15, 2019, the IDOT awarded a multi-year contract (PO #20-494DOT-FINAD-B-9677) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. to provide two Business Analysts for the Bureau of Design and Environment. The resources have been working with the IDOT team in identifying and reviewing all necessary business processes, documenting as-is and to-be business processes, identifying and documenting gaps, and creating requirements documentation as instructed. Deliverables include as-is process flows, to-be process flows, status reports, gap identification and documentation, and business requirements. This is an ongoing project and client managers are very satisfied with the performance of our Business Analysts.
On June 29, 2020, the Illinois Arts Council Agency (IAC) awarded a contract (20-503IAC-IAC50P-18920) to Alert IT Solutions, Inc. for the services of a Project Manager to oversee the complete development, setup, and installation of the Illinois Arts Council Agency’s new Grants Management System. Our PMP-certified Project Manager has been providing the requested project management services on this ongoing project, meeting and exceeding client expectations.
